JD1BMP Antenna Simulation by MMANA-GAL

We had a mistake in matching phase by incorrect direction by antenna manufacturer at the day one in Ogasawara 2008 DX-pedition. We used 2 by 2 by 11 elements Yagies but the phase was different between the right side 2 Yagies and left side 2 Yagies. We fixed the phase in the morning of day two and managed many EME contacts.

Day one antenna has normal gain at first glance but has strange beam pattern and no elevation beam pattern. So, I think that it did not worked as antenna in Ogasawara...

Workable antenna's pattern is next picture. The patterns are very beautiful but antenna height was not enough (about 3mH) and had its the first lobe is 7.5 degrees. By another simulation at 5mH, it is 2.3 degrees... If you need the configration file, you can get it from click the picture.

Note: the length of each elements was provided by the manufacturer. the positions calculated the absolute size from the drawing. SWR and jx was not under consideration.
